Old Castle that I came across in Tiernaur, Mulranny, Co. Mayo. I think it’s very beautiful. I’m not sure but I think it may be connected to Grainne Mhaol (Grace O’Malley)

Hi just thought I’d give some info about this castle. It’s a relatively new castle it was built as a home in the 19th or 20th century by a family whose descendants now live in a house close by, as they sold it some years ago and it is lived in now as a holiday home and used to be available to rent. I do believe it to be private property just for future people that go looking at it. Lovely photos of it by the way.
